The Douro valley, famed for Port wine is located in the historically rich land of northern Portugal. Home to renowned world explorers whose reputation is etched in discovery are Vasco De Gama and Magellan. The idyllic mountains of the Douro greet you as you enter this UNESCO designated site. Populated with undulating vistas with captivate the romance of the area from the gent awakening sunrise to the spectacularly impressive vibrantly coloured sunset, Portugal offers an unsurpassed an often overlooked range of wines. Be our guest and together we can roam the halls, caves and valleys of this stunningly beautiful part of the world, tasting wines and, where possible, matching the wines with the delicate cuisine of this country as it lies gently on the Iberian Peninsula.

With each course there is a recommended wine list that is indicative of the classic wines of this country. We strongly encourage you to try these wines during the course of your studies.
